Wig Size Chart
Use this guide to choose a comfortable fit. Most RockingColour wigs use an adjustable cap that fits the average UK adult head size (about 54–58 cm / 21.5–22.8 in circumference).
How to measure your head
- Circumference — Place a soft tape around your head, starting at the front hairline, above the ears, and around the fullest part of the back of the head.
- Front to nape — Measure from your front hairline over the crown down to the nape of your neck.
- Ear to ear (over top) — Measure from the top of one ear, over the crown, to the top of the other ear.

Cap construction types
- Lace front — Sheer lace at the hairline for a natural-looking front. Often with adjustable straps at the nape.
- Glueless / adjustable — Elastic bands or combs so you can wear without adhesive; tighten straps for security.
- Full lace / 360 lace — Lace around more of the perimeter for versatile parting and styling.
- Machine weft / basic cap — Durable everyday construction; usually fully adjustable.
- Headband wig — No lace; sits with a soft headband — size is mainly about band comfort.
Length guide (approx. from crown)
- Short / bob — about 8–14 inches
- Medium — about 14–18 inches
- Long — about 18–26 inches+
