Shipping policy
Order Processing
Orders placed before 13:00 UK time, Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays and other public holidays, will be processed and dispatched on the same day.
Orders placed after 13:00 UK time will be dispatched on the next working day.
Orders placed after 13:00 on Friday, or at any time on Saturday or Sunday, will be dispatched on the following Monday. If that Monday is a UK Bank Holiday, the order will be dispatched on the following Tuesday.
Orders placed on a UK Bank Holiday or other public holiday will be dispatched on the next available working day.
If any item is out of stock, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.
For the purposes of this policy, business days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays and other public holidays.
Order Changes and Cancellations Before Dispatch
If you need to change your delivery address or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@rockingcolour.co.uk. We will do our best to help before the order is dispatched.
Once an order has been handed to Royal Mail, we cannot guarantee that the address can be changed, the order can be cancelled, or the parcel can be intercepted.
Domestic (UK) Shipping Rates and Estimates
All UK orders are shipped with Royal Mail.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 is estimated to arrive within 2 business days after dispatch. Royal Mail Tracked 24 is estimated to arrive within 1 business day after dispatch.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed, as delivery may be affected by public holidays, peak seasons, weather, postal disruption, or other circumstances outside our control.

International Shipping
All international orders are shipped with Royal Mail International Tracked.
Delivery to Europe Zone destinations is typically estimated at 3-5 working days after dispatch. Delivery to World Zone destinations is typically estimated at 5-7 working days after dispatch.
International delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by customs processing, customs inspections, peak seasons, local postal disruption, public holidays, adverse weather, regional disruption, or other circumstances outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance or other customs-related procedures in the destination country, although we will do our best to assist where possible.
The destinations and prices listed below are based on our current Royal Mail service availability and Shopify checkout settings. They are provided for shipping guidance only and may change at short notice. Please refer to the checkout page for the final shipping options and charges available for your delivery address.

International Duties, Taxes and Customs

Orders shipped to the USA are sent using Royal Mail International Tracked DDP. This means Rocking Colour covers applicable import duty charged through Royal Mail's DDP service for USA orders. However, any applicable US state sales tax, local taxes, or charges not covered by the DDP postage service remain the responsibility of the customer.
For all other international destinations, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, including VAT, which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Rocking Colour is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and they are your responsibility as the customer.
We are required to declare the true item value and product details on customs forms. We cannot mark orders as gifts or lower the declared value.
Incorrect Address, Failed Delivery and Returned Parcels
Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct when placing your order. We are not responsible for failed delivery or returned parcels caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
If a parcel is returned to us due to reasons such as an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, failure to pay applicable import duties, taxes or VAT, failure to respond to the postal service or courier, inability of the postal service to deliver to the address, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect the parcel within the required collection period, we will refund the cost of the item once the parcel has been returned to us and received in its original condition.
The original delivery charge will not be refunded in these circumstances, as the shipping service has already been used. Any additional return shipping costs or carrier charges incurred may also be deducted from the refund where applicable.
If you would still like to receive the item, please place a new order using the correct delivery details.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel appears to be delayed or lost, please contact us at info@rockingcolour.co.uk with your order number. We will review the tracking information and assist with a postal service investigation where appropriate.
A parcel will not be treated as lost simply because it is delayed. Refunds or replacements for lost parcels will be considered once the parcel is confirmed as lost by Royal Mail or the relevant postal service, or after a reasonable investigation period has passed.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@rockingcolour.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
Refunds, Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. Please contact us before sending your return so we can provide the correct return instructions.
Returned items must be unworn, unused, unwashed, uncut, unstyled, free from odours, hair products, make-up marks or damage, and returned with the original packaging and any hygiene seals or tags intact where applicable.
For hygiene reasons, we may be unable to accept returns for items that have been worn, used, altered, had the hygiene seal removed, or are not returned in a resaleable condition, unless the item is faulty.
Unless the item is faulty or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked postal service, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Once your return has been received and checked, we will process your refund in accordance with our Return and Refund policy. Where applicable, any non-refundable delivery charges, additional return shipping costs, or carrier charges may be deducted from the refund.
We do not accept exchanges. If you would like a different item, colour, length or style, please return the original item in accordance with our return policy and place a new order.
